In High School I developed a strong intrest for fitness and enjoy rollerblading, skiing, hiking, canoeing, bicycling and weightlifing. I have been fortunate to have traveled to amazing places including Switzerland, Hawaii, Turks & Caicos, Punta Cana, Los Cabos, Cancun, Jamaica, Costa Rica and an Alaskan cruise.
I've hiked Isle Royale in search of Moose (I saw a red fox) and hiked & canoed the Boundry Waters Area several times. I enjoy the outdoors and take many camping trips with my husband and Bernese Mountain Dog (Kracker) up to Glen Arbor, Michigan and the Finger Lakes Region in New York where we enjoy visiting many wonderful vineyards.
I have been involved in fitness for more than 20 years. After having my 3 daughers I decided to train for a Body Building Contest. After 12 very disciplined weeks I was the 1998 First Place & Overall winner for the Mid-Michigan Women's Body Building Championships. I have been teaching group fitness classes since 1994 and dedicated to helping individuals recognize their potential and helping them reach & exceed their goals. I am very passionate about the fitness environment and have inspired others to change their lives. I have numerous certifications including Personal Training and Group Fitness along with over 200 hours of continuing education credits. When is comes to hard work & dedication, I know what it takes to succeed and reach goals!
When I am not managing the BrickHouse Health & Fitness center, I am home with my family enjoing my 10 acre home with my dog, my pot-bellied pig, and the abundant wildlife and birds that surround my home.
